INGREDIENTS:
  • Black Raspberry Vanilla Fragrance Oil - Trial Size
  • Vanilla Color Stabilizer - 1 oz
  • SFIC Clear Melt And Pour Soap Base - 1 lb
  • Electric Bubble Gum Color Block - 1 Block
  • White Bursting Beads - 1 oz
  • Brown Oxide Color Block - 1 Block
  • Perfect Red Color Block - 1 Block
  • SFIC White Melt And Pour Soap Base - 1 lb
EQUIPMENT:
  • Droppers With Suction Bulb - 1 dropper
  • 99% Isopropyl Alcohol - 1 bottle (16 oz by volume)
  • 4 Cavity Donut Silicone Mold - 1 mold
  • 8 oz Clear Bottle with White Spray Cap - 10

Instructions

You will need:

  • Base:
  • Donut Silicone Mold
  • 11 oz. Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base
  • 1 oz. White Melt and Pour Soap Base
  • 6 mL Black Raspberry Vanilla Fragrance Oil
  • 6 mL Vanilla Color Stabilizer
  • Brown Oxide Color Block
  • 99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
  • Soap Frosting:
  • 3 oz. White Melt and Pour Soap Base
  • Electric Bubble Gum Color Block
  • Perfect Red Color Block
  • White Bursting Beads
  • 99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle

Follow these steps:

1

Chop 11 ounces of Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base and 1 ounce of White Melt and Pour Soap Base into small uniform pieces. Place the soap in a heat-safe container and melt in the microwave using 15-20 second bursts.

2

Add a small chunk of Brown Oxide Color Block to the melted soap and stir. Tip: If the soap hardens during this process, put it back in the microwave and heat using 5 second bursts.

3

Add 6 mL of Black Raspberry Vanilla Fragrance Oil and 6 mL of Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Use a spoon to thoroughly mix.

4

Pour the soap into the Donut Silicone Mold. Spritz with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of bubbles. Allow to cool and harden for several hours. There will be some leftover soap - this is to remelt later and glue the donut halves together.

5

Once the soap is completely cool and hard, remove it from the mold. Tip: If the soap is sticking in the mold, place it in the freezer for about 5 minutes and try again. The cold temperature causes the soap to constrict, which makes it easier to unmold.

6

Remelt the remaining brown soap using 5 second bursts. Spray one donut half with 99% isopropyl alcohol and carefully pour the melted brown soap on top. Quickly press another donut half on top and squeeze the 2 sides together. Repeat with the remaining halves. Allow them to cool and harden - this will only take a few minutes.

7

Chop 3 ounces of White Melt and Pour Soap Base into small uniform pieces. Place the soap into a heat-safe container and melt in the microwave using 5-10 second bursts.

8

Add shavings of the Electric Bubble Gum Color Block until you have a bright pink shade. Add a few shavings of the Perfect Red Color Block to give it some depth. Once you're happy with the color, it's time to decorate.

9

Take the temperature of the pink soap - it should be about 110-120° F. Lightly spritz a donut with 99% isopropyl alcohol and use a spoon to drizzle pink soap on top. Quickly sprinkle the White Bursting Beads on and spray with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of bubbles. Tip: You can also carefully pour the pink soap - it's a personal preference.

10

Repeat this process with the remaining 2 donuts.

11

Allow the soaps to fully cool and harden. To prevent glycerin dew, cover them in plastic wrap. Enjoy!
