Spooky Stripe Soap Project
The key to layering melt and pour is temperature and patience. Before pouring the next layer, make sure the layer below has cooled and hardened enough to support the layer above. Spray alcohol between each layer to help avoid them from separating.
This batch is scented with Bewitched Orchid Fragrance Oil. It's a deep and complex blend of orchid, jasmine, and black pepper. It does discolor to tan - using Vanilla Color Stabilizer at a 1:1 ratio to fragrance oil prevents discoloration in melt and pour. This will keep the white layers white, and the colors vibrant.

10 inch Silicone Loaf Mold
SFIC White Melt And Pour Soap Base - 1 lb
SFIC Clear Melt And Pour Soap Base - 1 lb
Bewitched Orchid Fragrance Oil - 1.75 oz
Vanilla Color Stabilizer - 4 oz
Kermit Green Color Block - 1 Block
Queen's Purple Color Block - 1 Block
Sunset Orange Color Block - 1 Block

Instructions
You will need:
- 10" Silicone Loaf Mold
- 45 oz. Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base
- 8 oz. White Melt and Pour Soap Base
- Sunset Orange Color Block
- Kermit Green Color Block
- Queen's Purple Color Block
- 0.6 oz. Bewitched Orchid Fragrance Oil
- 0.6 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer
- 99% Isopropyl Alcohol
Follow these steps:

Chop 45 ounces of Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base into small uniform cubes. Place 15 ounces of the clear soap cubes into three heat-safe containers. Chop 8 ounces of White Melt and Pour Soap Base into small unfirom cubes and place into a small heat-safe container.

Add a chunk of the Queen's Purple Color Block to one of the containers of clear soap and place the container in the microwave. Gently heat using 20-30 second bursts until the soap is fully melted. Stir to incorporate the Color Block. Add 0.2 ounces of Bewitched Orchid Fragrance Oil and 0.2 ounces of Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Stir to fully mix in, and pour all of the soap into the 10" Silicone Loaf Mold. Spray with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of bubbles and allow to cool and harden.

Place the container of white soap in the microwave and melt using 15-20 second bursts. Make sure the purple layer of soap has hardened enough to support the layer on top. Spray with 99% isopropyl alcohol to help the layers tick, and pour half of the white soap into the mold. Spray with alcohol to get rid of bubbles and allow to cool.

Add a chunk of the Kermit Green Color Block to a container of clear soap and place the container in the microwave. Gently heat using 20-30 second bursts until the soap is fully melted. Stir to incorporate the Color Block. Add 0.2 ounces of Bewitched Orchid Fragrance Oil and 0.2 ounces of Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Stir to fully mix in.
Make sure the white layer of soap has hardened enough to support the layer on top. Spray with 99% isopropyl alcohol to help the layers stick, and pour all the green soap into the mold. Spray with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of bubbles and allow to cool and harden..

Once the green soap has hardened enough to support another layer, gently reheat the remaining white soap in the microwave using 15 second bursts. Spray with 99% isopropyl alcohol to help the layers stick, and pour the remaining white soap into the mold. Spray with alcohol to get rid of bubbles and allow to cool.

Add a chunk of theSunset Orange Color Block to the last container of clear soap and place the container in the microwave. Gently heat using 20-30 second bursts until the soap is fully melted. Stir to incorporate the Color Block. Add 0.2 ounces of Bewitched Orchid Fragrance Oil and 0.2 ounces of Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Stir to fully mix in.

Allow the soap to fully cool and harden for at least 4 hours, up to overnight. Release the soap from the mold and cut into bars. Wrap the bars in plastic wrap to help prevent glycerin dew.
