Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
  • Pumpkin Powder - 3 oz
  • Organic Cocoa Butter Wafers - 1 lb
  • Emulsifying Wax - 1 lb
  • Pumpkin Sandalwood Fragrance Oil - 1.75 oz
  • Pumpkin Extract - 16 oz
EQUIPMENT:
  • 8 oz Lidded Glass Jar - 4 Jars

Instructions

You will need:

  • Three 8 oz. Bail Jars
  • 32 oz. Cane Sugar (from home)
  • 1 oz. Pumpkin Powder
  • 4 oz. Pumpkin Extract
  • 3 oz. Cocoa Butter
  • 1 oz. Emulsifying Wax
  • 0.6 oz. Pumpkin Sandalwood Fragrance Oil

Follow these steps:

1

Add 32 ounces of cane sugar into a large bowl. Add 1 ounce of pumpkin powder and mix. Tip: If your pumpkin powder is clumpy, push it through a mesh strainer into the bowl.

2

To a small heat-safe container, add 4 ounces of pumpkin extract, 3 ounces of cocoa butter, and 1 ounce of emulsifying wax. Place in the microwave and melt using 30-60 second bursts. Be careful when removing from the microwave - it will be quite hot.

3

Add 0.6 ounces of Pumpkin Sandalwood Fragrance Oil to the melted oil and butter mixture. Stir thoroughly.

4

Pour the oil mixture into the sugar and mix until everything is combined.

5

Scoop the scrub into the jars (or any other containers you prefer). We filled about 3 jars with a little bit left over. Store in a cool and dry place. To use, apply to wet skin and scrub. Enjoy!
