Baobab and Jojoba Soap Project
This Baobab and Jojoba Soap is simple, yet packed with skin-loving ingredients.
It starts with Oatmeal Melt and Pour Soap Base, which contains oat protein and whole oats. Baobab powder is mixed into jojoba oil and added next.
Baobab powder is sourced from Baraka Shea Butter and is rich in vitamin C. A touch of ylang ylang essential oil gives these bars a floral scent.

EQUIPMENT:
- 4 Cavity Classic Leaf Silicone Mold - 1 mold
Instructions
You will need:
- 4 Cavity Classic Leaf Silicone Mold
- 16 oz. Oatmeal Melt and Pour Soap Base

- 1 Tbsp. Baobab Powder
- 3 mL Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
- 99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
Follow these steps:
1
Chop 16 ounces of Oatmeal Melt and Pour Soap Base into small, uniform cubes. Place them in a heat-safe container and melt in the microwave using 30 second bursts.
2
Mix 1 tablespoon of baobab powder with 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil. Stir until there are no clumps. Add the mixture to the melted soap and stir thoroughly.
3
Add 3 mL of ylang ylang essential oil and stir thoroughly. Allow the soap to cool to about 130° F so the powder doesn't settle.
4
Pour the soap into each cavity and spritz with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of bubbles.
5
Allow the soap to fully cool and harden for about 3-4 hours. Remove from the mold and enjoy!
