Car Soap Project
These cute car soaps are very simple to make and fun to use in the tub. It's a great project to make with kids - they'll love stirring in the glitter, color, and fragrance oil.
The bars are scented with Southern Peach Fragrance Oil. The Fine Silver Rainbow EcoGlitter is biodegradable, so you can feel good about it going down the drain.

- SFIC Clear Melt And Pour Soap Base - 1 lb
- Fine Silver Rainbow EcoGlitter - 1 oz
- Perfect Red Color Block - 1 Block
- Caribbean Blue Color Block - 1 Block
- Southern Peach Fragrance Oil - 2 oz
- Kermit Green Color Block - 1 Block
EQUIPMENT:
- DISCONTINUED - 6 Cavity Kids Vehicles Silicone Mold - 1 Mold
- 99% Isopropyl Alcohol - 1 bottle (16 oz by volume)
Instructions
You will need:
- 6 Cavity Kids Vehicles Silicone Mold
- 16 oz. Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base
- Kermit Green Color Block
- Caribbean Blue Color Block
- Perfect Red Color Block
- 0.3 oz. Southern Peach Fragrance Oil
- 1/2 tsp. Fine Silver Rainbow EcoGlitter
- 99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
Follow these steps:

Chop 16 ounces of Clear Melt and Pour into small uniform cubes. Place them in a heat-safe container and melt in the microwave using 30 second bursts.

Add 0.3 ounces of Southern Peach Fragrance Oil and 1/2 teaspoon of Fine Silver Rainbow EcoGlitter. Stir to fully combine.

Split the soap evenly into 3 separate containers - it's okay to eyeball it. Add a chunk of Perfect Red Color Block to one container, Kermit Green Color Block to the second, and Caribbean Blue Color Block to the third. Stir to incorporate. If the soap isn't quite hot enough to melt the Color Blocks, place each container back in the microwave for 5-10 second bursts.

Pour each color into 2 mold cavities. Spray with alcohol to get rid of bubbles.

Allow to fully cool and harden for several hours and remove from the mold. Enjoy!
