Monstera Leaf Soap Project
Plant parents - this easy melt and pour project is for you! The Monstera Silicone Mold creates adorable bars. They feature green and white layers and they're scented with Lush Succulent Fragrance Oil.
To unmold the soap, apply even pressure on all areas of the mold to fully break the airlock. Then, firmly press the soap out. For best results, allow the bars to fully cool and harden. We also recommend spraying 99% isopropyl alcohol in between the layers - this ensures they stick together.

4 Cavity Monstera Silicone Mold - 1 Mold
Lush Succulent Fragrance Oil - 1.75 oz
Green Chrome Color Block - 1 Block
Droppers With Suction Bulb - 10 droppers
Clean Up Tool - 1 tool

Recipe

Instructions
You will need:
- Monstera Silicone Mold
- 4 oz. Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base
- 12 oz. White Melt and Pour Soap Base
- 0.3 oz. Lush Succulent Fragrance Oil
- Kermit Green Color Block
- Chrome Green Color Block
- 99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
- Optional: Clean Up Tool and Droppers
Follow these steps:

Chop 4 ounces of Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base into small pieces. Place the soap and small chunks of Kermit Green Color Block and Chrome Green Color Block into a small heat-safe container and melt in the microwave using 10 second bursts. Melt and pour can burn, so use short bursts, mix in between each one, and don't let it boil.

Stir completely to incorporate the color. With a steady hand, pour the green soap into the leaf details of the mold. Stop pouring once each leaf detail is full and spritz with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of bubbles. If you prefer, you can fill in the details with a dropper. If you make a mistake, allow the soap to fully cool and harden and then use the clean-up tool to get rid of imperfections. Note: You will have leftover green soap. Set aside and save for another batch.

Set the mold aside. Chop 12 ounces of White Melt and Pour Soap Base into small cubes and place in a heat-safe container. Melt using 30 second bursts.

Add 0.3 ounces of Lush Succulent Fragrance Oil to the white soap and stir in completely. Allow the soap to cool to 120-130° F. Spritz the mold cavities with alcohol and pour the white soap in until completely full. Spritz with 99% isopropyl alcohol again to get rid of bubbles. Allow to full cool and harden overnight, or at least 6 hours.

Once the soap has completely cooled, break the airlock by pulling the sides away from each cavity. Flip the mold over and use your thumbs to apply even pressure to all areas of the mold. Once the details are completely released, push the soaps out of the mold.

The soaps are ready to use right away. To prevent glycerin dew, wrap each bar in plastic wrap. Enjoy!
