- Usage Instructions: Mix Cationic Guar Gum into a slurry with an anhydrous liquid (such as liquid glycerin, or a fixed oil). Slowly add the slurry to the water phase of a recipe, and mix well. The gum will cause the recipe to slowly thicken at room temperature, or will thicken more quickly with heat. Tolerant of cold or heated formulations. Usage rate is 0.5-2% in water based recipes.
