Aromatherapy
Beeswax Candles
It's amazing what scents can
do! They can uplift you, help you relax, or bring back memories of your
favorite place. Whatever you’re in the mood for, try these candles.
They're made with all-natural beeswax and essential
oils.
Willow and Ivy
Candles
Color is a great way to add flair to your
candles, and it's really easy to do! Just add a pinch of dye flakes to the melted
wax and stir well. A little goes a long way. We added Sage Green Dye
Flakes to this project to complement the Willow and Ivy Fragrance
Oil.
Hickory and Suede Beeswax
Candles
Beeswax has an amazing natural scent - it
smells like smoky, sweet honey. For this recipe, we chose Hickory and Suede
Fragrance Oil. The notes of leather, lavender, sandalwood, suede, spiced musk, and
tobacco blend perfectly with
beeswax.
Berry
Candles
Celebrate any occasion with these cute pink
candles! The Bramble Berry Fragrance Oil is a sweet mix of blackberry,
raspberry, peony, honeysuckle, white woods, and golden amber. Top the candles with
EcoGlitter and they're ready to gift for Valentine's Day, birthdays, anniversaries,
etc.
Tranquility
Candles
This recipe features soft and comforting
Tranquility Fragrance Oil and Powder Blue Candle Dye Flakes. It's also made with 10%
coconut wax, which gives the candles a softer texture, slower burn, and
improved scent throw. The last touch is wood wicks, which make a comforting
crackling sound as they burn.
Blue Moon
Candles
Blue EcoGlitter gives these candles a unique
look. The sparkle as the wick burns is hard to beat! They're also made with Nature
Wax C-3 and cute lidded jars. The Moon Child Fragrance Oil adds notes of grapefruit,
thyme, white tea, honey, and
jasmine.
Bourbon and Beeswax
Candles
This is another example of a fragrance
blending perfectly with beeswax! Kentucky Bourbon Fragrance Oil has notes
of orange, clove, orchid, musk, oak cask, and patchouli. These candles are
also perfect for shipping - the containers come with lids and the beeswax has a
higher melting point than soy.
Gingerbread
Candles
These candles are perfect for the holidays.
As soon as you light one, they fill the room with a spicy and sweet gingerbread
scent. Light one to wrap gifts, during a party, or during your favorite holiday
movie. Did we mention they also make great gifts?
Goblet
Candles
If you're looking for an easy and
sophisticated project, give this one a try. It's a great way to use old glassware -
we found ours at a local second-hand store. Just make sure they're sturdy so they
don't tip over. To go with the sophisticated theme, the candles are scented with
Wild Rose Fragrance Oil.
Beeswax and Honey
Candles
You can also use old containers for candles!
Mason jars, old candle jars, or old food containers work well as long as they're
heat safe and sturdy. We used Mason jars for this project, and it's scented with
sweet Pure Honey Fragrance Oil.
Pumpkin
Pie Candles
These make your house smell just like
fall. Pumpkin Pie Fragrance Oil has all the same notes as the classic dessert
- cinnamon, vanilla, and clove. Just mix with the Golden Wax 444, pour into
lidded jars, and add the custom-designed
labels.
Pacific Trail
Candles
This recipe is inspired by our home, the
Pacific Northwest! They're made with soy wax, gold candle tins, Pacific Trail
Fragrance Oil, and wood wicks. They also come with custom-designed labels. All you
have to do is cut them out and attach to the tins for a polished and professional
look.
